Beautiful courtyard offering enough space for relaxing, making BBQs and enjoying nice chats over a glass of wine. Ideal for children!A perfect base for outings to nearby Melk (Melk Monastery), Spitz, Dürnstein, Krems, Göttweig (Göttweig Monastery) or across the River Danube (bridge in Melk or ferryboat in Spitz – also suitable for cars) to Aggstein Castle Ruins, Schönbühel Castle, Aggsbach Dorf Carthusian Order, and many more picturesque attractions. Walkers and hikers can choose from a great variety of signposted routes ideal for all ages and preferences. On prior arrangement you can also make motor boat trips on the River Danube or try horseback or camel riding (at some 20 km).Winter sports fans get together at the nearby Jauerling, located in the immediate vicinity: a small but beautiful ski area especially suitable for families and small children. At some 35 km you also find the unique Waldviertel cross-country skiing network.
