Schaeffergaarden has 22 single rooms, 2 junior suites in the old castle, 15 twin rooms, 15 double rooms in one of our newer buildings, overlooking our big green area, forest and lake, 10 double rooms and 10 twin rooms, all with balconies overlooking the castle and our beautiful garden.

Schaeffergaarden is situated 20 minutes from the centre of Copenhagen on a beautiful property with green grass areas, a little forest and a lake. The main house is an old castle from 1755 where we have our single rooms and all our double rooms are situated in our newer buildings. Our restaurant Wohlert has 60- 90% organic food and we have the most exciting Sunday brunch in this part of the country. There are 7 minutes by foot to the station, 7 minutes to the beach by car, where there is free parking, 7 minutes to the Frilands museuem, also with free parking and 7 minutes to Bakken, an amusementpark.
