The family-run Panorama Hotel Traunstein offers modern rooms, each with a private balcony. Within a 10-minute walk, guests can reach the centre of Altmünster and Lake Traun, which offers waterskiing, beach volleyball, miniature golf, and a large adventure trail. Every morning we prepare a rich breakfast buffet for you with wholemeal and natural products, a selection of sausages and cheeses as well as bread and pastries from the region. The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and cable TV. They are all decorated in bright colours and materials. Direct lake access is only a few minutes' walk away. The local outdoor pool in Altmünster offers a swimming pool as well as lake access and is chargeable. Popular sights in the surrounding area include Orth Castle, which is beautifully situated in a lake and only a 20-minute walk away. You can rent e-bikes directly at our reception - we kindly ask you to book in advance. In winter, the ski bus stops directly in front of the house and takes you to the Feuerkogel skiing area in 20 minutes.
