Sourroundet by a large garden, meadows and forests, "Hochegg" is a family-run farmhouse with horses set on a small hill, a 5 minute walk from the centre of Faistenau. Each room is rustically furnished and offers views of the surrounding mountains. The family-run "Hochegg" offers a tasty breakfast , winter garden, and also a beautiful garden outside. many hiking trails as well as the Lake Hintersee are right next to "Hochegg". The city of Salzburg is reachable in 26 km, while the towns of St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen, Mondsee and Bad Ischl are all within a 20 km. In winter a cross country ski run is next to the house, snow tubing and winter walking trails are also available.
