Offering guided hiking tours in winter and summer and a modern spa area, this Alpine-style hotel is only a 10-minute drive away from the Großglockner Mountain. Typical Tyrolean cuisine is served in the restaurant. Each rooms comes with solid wooden furniture, mountain views and a private bathroom equipped with bathrobes and slippers. Half board includes a buffet breakfast, cakes and tea in the afternoon, and dinner. A special dinner menu is available for children. Various saunas, baths, as well as massage and beauty treatments are offered in the spa area of the Taurerwirt. You can start cross-country skiing right from front door of the Wanderhotel Taurerwirt. Ski slopes of all levels of difficulty can be found in the Großglockner Resort Kals–Matrei. Fly fishing, climbing, rafting and mountain biking can be enjoyed during the summer season.
