Bad Sankt Leonhard’s Unplugged Almhütte Waldbauer is located on a large meadow, surrounded by forests, and next to a stream and pond. Restaurants, supermarkets, a swimming pool, bus stop and train station are all within 8 km. The old, traditional Waldbauer chalet has 2 bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a gas and wood burning stove, a large table and seating area, and a bathroom with a small bathtub. All water is heated by an iron stove, and the toilet is outside and functions without water, there is no electricity. A fireplace and barbecue facilities can be used on site free of charge, and the property’s spring provides drinking water. Guests may bring up to 2 horses, and paddocks with shelters can be organized by the Almhütte against a surcharge. Guests are welcome to visit a partner castle, a 15-minute drive away and enjoy walks in the idyllic garden or try fishing in the pond. A hunting lodge can be visited against a surcharge, and guests can join hunters in a shoot. Activities that are offered at the partner property free of charge include hiking, berry and mushroom collecting and beekeeping. Bad Sankt Leonhard’s city center is 11 km, and the nearest ski area is 28 km away. The Graz and Klagenfurt airports are 48 km away.
