Located 90 km north of Lake Louise in a wilderness setting, this hostel features a common kitchen. Snowshoes are provided for guest use. Ice climbing opportunities surround this property. Wooden furnishings and natural daylight are offered in all dormitory rooms at HI Rampart Creek Hostel. Shared bathroom facilities are provided. Linen is included. HI Rampart Creek Hostel provides no electricity to ensure a rustic experience. Guests can relax in the shared lounge or by the outdoor fire pit after a day’s hiking and wildlife viewing. Jasper is 2 hours’ drive from this hotel. Banff is 147 km away. This is a back-to-basics wilderness hostel - with no showers and no flush toilets. Like all the wilderness hostels, the emphasis here is on experiencing the Rockies on their own terms.
