Surrounded by waterfalls and natural pools, this eco-friendly hotel offers tent bungalows with a spacious private terrace, 25 minutes' drive from Marino National Park. Guests at Rio Tico Safari Lodge can have breakfast and lunch at the onsite restaurant, where you can enjoy a freshly brewed cappuccino or espresso. You can also have dinner at one of the restaurants in Ojochal, which is a short drive away. Several activities can be practiced at the Rio Tico, such as kayaking in mangroves, hiking or horse riding. From August to October and from December to April is possible to see humpback whales and dolphins in Marino National Park. Set on wooden platforms, each bungalow has mosquito nets and a fan. Each one has a private bathroom. Offering a wide range of flora and fauna, Corcovado National Park is 40 km away. Car rental and a shuttle service are available.
