Featuring a secluded beach and a reef with abundant marine life, this exclusive private resort offers a choice of luxury villas with a large patio and a private plunge pool. Located on the edge of the Rainbow Reef, The Remote Resort is set opposite Taveuni Island. It is accessible from either a 20-minute boat ride from Taveuni or a 1-hour drive and 20-minute boat ride from Savusavu. Fiji Islands' Remote Resort offers snorkelling and kayaking options. Spa treatments are also available. Stylishly designed to blend in with the natural tropical surroundings, each villa boasts handcrafted wood furniture, an iPod docking station and a king-size bed with Egyptian cotton towels. Each has a spacious outdoor deck with a day bed. Private in-villa dining or dining at the Main Pavilion & Lounge is available.

Located on Vanua Levu, opposite Taveuni Island, The Remote Resort Fiji Islands is accessible from either Taveuni or Savusavu. The easiest route from Nadi International Airport is to take a domestic flight from Nadi to Taveuni (flight time of 1 hour and 20 minutes). Transfers can be arranged from either Taveuni (20-minute boat ride to the resort) or Savusavu (1-hour car transfer via a partly unsealed road and a 20-minute boat ride to the resort).
