Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Big Blue Studios Myrtos is situated in the lovely village of Myrtos, in south Crete. It offers spacious, soundproofed rooms, all with free Wi-Fi and surrounded by a lovely garden with citrus trees and herbs. The fully air-conditioned/heated rooms have private balconies with views of the sea and the village. Big Blue Studios Myrtos has adopted the principles of sustainable management for water, energy and waste. There is recycling and composting program and Big Blue Studios Myrtos covers all CO2 emissions from a 10 Kw photovoltaic system unit. Access to the sea, which is just below the unit, is through either a road through the village (300m) or from stairs (just 50m). Guests can take a walk in Selakano Forest, the biggest forest of Crete, the famous gorge of Sarakina, the exotic island of Chrysi, the Minoan settlements of the village and the stone three-arched bridge (1890). Also go fishing, or snorkelling or scuba diving with the help of the local diving center. The village has all the local amenities you will need as well as good public transport connections to Heraklion, Ierapetra and Agios Nikolaos.
