Situated on a hillside location, the Alkion Hotel is surrounded by pretty landscaped gardens and the green pine forests of the area that makes for a peaceful and tranquil holiday location. The hotel complex offers stunning views of the Sithonia peninsula from its location and yet is less than a kilometre to the nearest beach and shopping/restaurant areas. This family run hotel assures a friendly and relaxing stay with the a range of modern and spacious apartments complete with a selection of welcoming facilities such as the large outdoor pool complete with a pool bar and there is also a games room at the hotel. Despite the apartments' quiet location, they are not so far from the nearest beach that can be found at the bottom of the hill. The nearest town of Kriopigi can be found just a few minutes walk up the hill, and offers a great selection of tavernas and restaurants, as well as traditional supermarkets for all your essential needs. The area is best suited for those looking for a peaceful stay - however, if you ever wanted to experience some of the nightlife of the area then your best choice would be to visit the resort of Kallithea that can be found five kilometres from Kriopigi. The hotel’s location is not ideal for those who have walking difficulties, although there is a regular bus and train that can take you from the hotel to the beach and town centre.
