Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. Set on a working farm, Guesthouse Stöng’s simply furnished rooms all have views over the scenic countryside. Each has a washbasin, desk and wardrobe. Bathroom facilities are shared. Breakfast and dinner are served in Stöng’s restaurant with bar. Free tea and coffee are available to all guests. Myvatn Nature Baths with its natural steam baths and bathing lagoon is 31 km from the guest house. Akureyri town centre is about 1 hours’ drive away. If you expect to arrive after 20:00, please inform Guesthouse Stöng in advance. Please note that Guesthouse Stöng is located along a gravel road. Guesthouse Stöng operates a strict non-smoking policy. Guests who violate this policy will be charged 150 EUR for smoking.
