Located on the premises of Jigenin Temple and boasting a hot stone sauna and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Zen no Yu is located a 10-minute drive from Kawazu Train Station. In the early spring, the Kawazuzakura (Kawazu cherry blossoms) can be seen along the nearby Kawazu River. Air conditioned Japanese-style rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring, traditional futon bedding and a low table. Each is fitted with a safety deposit box, a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Yukata robes and a green tea set can also be found in rooms. At Zen no Yu Ryokan, guests can relax in the hot spring baths, use the barbecue facilities at a surcharge or get a soothing massage at a surcharge. A coin launderette, a luggage storage service and drinks vending machines are also available. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A healthy breakfast and dinner featuring fresh seasonal vegetables are served upon request at the dining area. Some vegetables are purely home-made, grown in the property garden. Amagi Horse Village and Kawazu Nanadaru Falls are both a 5-minute drive away, while Mine Onsen Daifunto Park is a 9-minute drive from the property.
