Newly opened in February 2014, Guest House Yakushima is located in the southern part of Yakushima. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, free parking and a luggage storage service. Activities and guided tours can be arranged. Miyanoura Ferry Port is a 40-minute drive away, while Anbo Ferry Port is a 15-minute drive from the property. Rooms are all non-smoking rooms, and are fitted with air conditioning/heating and linen. Rooms are fitted with traditional futon bedding or bunk beds. At Yakushima Guest House, guests can use the shared kitchen to prepare their own meals. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator and a rice cooker. Boil-in-the-bag food, alcohol and soft drinks can also be purchased at the shared kitchen. Tableware, a communal PC and a TV can be found in the living room area. Yakushima Airport is a 25-minute drive away, while Tainokawa Bus Stop is a 4-minute walk away from the property. Yakusugi Land can be visited within a 55-minute drive.
