Canreef Resort is on Herathera Island, one of the 6 islands that form Addu Atoll, the Southernmost Atoll in the Maldives. The island is 4.5 km long and narrow with the villas, restaurants, and bars all centrally located towards the middle of the island. Canareef Resort offers experiences suitable for romantic getaways, solo escapes, exciting adventures with friends, or enjoyable family vacations. The Villas are set along the East and West coastline, with the Sunrise Villas on the East, and the Sunset Villas on the West. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk, and free Wi-Fi access throughout the villa and outlets. At the resort, all the rooms along with an Oceanview. have 40-inch LCD televisions, Air-conditioners, Coffee and Tea making facilities, a Minibar, toiletries, and a safety deposit box. The resort consists of 2 restaurant and 3 bars. Kilhi is the main restaurant where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served in the buffet style. Light meals and drinks are served at the Dhoni Bar. A La Carte dining and drinks are available at the Meera Bar. Snacks and drinks are available at the Beach Bar. Various excursions and water sports are available along with resort-based activities and facilities such as a fully equipped gym, Tennis court, Table tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Spa, Swimming pool, and Souvenir shop. The resort also has a Kid’s club and Baby-Sitting facility (Surcharge).

Transfer Details: Option 1: From Gan International Airport (GAN): 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef. 19th March- 31st October 2024. Complimentary Return speedboat Transfer is available only from GAN International airport. Period: 1st November 2024- 31st October 2025 USD 80 per adult (12 years and above) USD 40 per child (2-11 years old) FOC for infants below 2 years. Option 2: From Velena International Airport (MLE): 75–95-minute domestic flight to Gan and a 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef. Till 31st Oct 2024. Adult - USD 395 Per Person. Child (Ages 2 to 11 years) - USD 315 Per Child. Infant (Age below 2 years) - Free of charge. Period: 1st Nov 2024 -31st Oct 2025 USD 420 per adult (12 years and above ages) USD 340 per child (2 to 11 years old) FOC for infants below 2 years. The prices of the Speedboat and the Domestic Transfers will be shared by the team once the booking is confirmed by the guest. Our representatives will be at both airports to welcome you and assist you with your transfers. Lounge services will be provided for guests arriving at Male International Airport. Domestic flight transfers are handled by a third-party company; Island Aviation Service (IAS). To arrange Domestic flights, the Resort must receive all transfer details at the time of booking accommodation and no later than 2 (two) weeks prior to arrival, including, full name of all visitors as it appears in the passport along with the flight details to and from Maldives. Resort will not guarantee same-day transfers if transfer details are not received within this time or if the transfer details are amended within 10 days of arrival. For guests who are arriving at MLE airport after 22:00, same-day domestic transfer to Gan cannot be guaranteed. However, the resort will gladly assist the clients with overnight accommodation at Hulhumale or Male’. Overnight accommodation charges are to be borne by the clients and their transfer to the resort will be the following day subject to availability. Guests who are departing from MLE airport before 09:00 may need to depart the resort the night before and again, in such a case the resort will gladly assist the clients with overnight accommodation at Hulhumale or Male’, with overnight accommodation charges to be borne by the clients. For guests who are arriving at Gan Airport, the speedboat will be arranged accordingly (the Speedboat time might differ based on unavoidable circumstances). Other details: Children under 5 years will eat for free based on the rules and meal-plan accompanied by an adult. A mandatory green tax of USD 6 per child/infant per night will be charged. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making the payment at the hotel. Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. Due to safety and privacy concerns the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited.
