If you're after a lush sandy beach to try, head to Mellieha Bay, which is a short bus ride away from the Clover Holiday Complex Apartments in Qawra. Qawra is a great place for a holiday with the kids; there are plenty of things to keep them occupied on a Malta holiday, such as the Splash and Fun Water Park with water slides and a dinosaur park, the Mediterraneo Marine Park, which is located next door and the Popeye Village Theme Park.\n\nWhy not hire a car on your holidays, Qawra is an ideal base to explore the island; you could visit Sliema, St Julians or even head to the impressive capital of Valletta where you can see the cathedral, museums and the harbour. A trip to the Hypogeum Temple and the prehistoric Ghar Dalam cave is a must on your Qawra holidays or why not hop on a glass-bottomed boat trip or a boat trip to the neighbouring island of Gozo?
