Abbots Hotel is 5 minutes' drive from the Claudelands Event Centre and 8 minutes' drive from Waikato University. Hamilton International Airport is 20 minutes' drive away. The property offers a free off-street parking area for cars. The spacious rooms feature a kitchenette with a refrigerator, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room includes a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Abbots Hamilton provides 2 comfortable meeting rooms with a range of conference services, including food and drink facilities. The on-site restaurant offers an à la carte menu of classic New Zealand cuisine. Guests can enjoy cooked breakfast for an additional charge.

Guests need to meet one or more requirements to stay in this property: proof of full Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination, a recent valid negative Coronavirus PCR test, or recent proof of Coronavirus recovery. A damage deposit of NZD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please inform Abbots Hamilton – Hotel and Conference Centre in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Our restaurant and bar are temperately closed from 14th Nov 2021 till further notice. Reception hours are Monday to Sunday and Public holidays 8 am-7 pm. If you expect to arrive outside these hours you must inform the property in advance in order to arrange late check in and key collection. If you do not inform the property a late check in fee of NZD $50 may apply. Please note that there is a 3% charge when you pay with an American Express or Diners Club credit card. You must show a valid credit card upon check in. This credit card must be in the same name as the guest's name on the booking confirmation. Please note that the dinner special option includes a free continental breakfast and a pre-set dinner menu. The property will be renovating from 5 October 2022. (completion date subject to change).Renovation work will only be conducted during working hours on weekdays. Every effort will be made to minimise noise and disturbance.
