Built in 1888, The Prince Albert Backpackers & Bar is a heritage building with free Wi-Fi, an onsite bar and restaurant and a cafe on weekdays Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson. It is a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. It is a 5-minute drive from Trafalgar Park and a 15-minute drive from Nelson Airport. All heated rooms have carpeted floors and an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. All rooms have linen provided. Guests can relax outdoors on the sun terrace in a hammock or prepare a meal in the shared kitchen. Come ask us about activities around the Top of the South, we are happy to advise where we can. The cafe is open from 7:30am Monday to Friday while the restaurant is open from midday 7 days a week. All of our guests receive 10% off of all Food and Beverage. Please head to our website for an updated menu. Your property description is created based on the facilities and amenities you add. It’s then translated into multiple languages, which can increase bookings by appealing to all potential guests.

Please note that for the dormitory rooms, towels are not included in the price. You can rent them at the property or bring your own.
