Balay Tuko is a boutique hotel built in a residential area and accredited by the Ministry of Tourism. We have the largest indoor swimming pool in the city (open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and a lovely tropical garden with lots of flowers and old trees to attract birds and butterflies. Our location is close to Robinson's Place Shopping Mall, Truecare Dialysis Center, Land Transportation Office, Immigration Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office, CHIEF Private Motor Vehicle Inspection and Public Market from San Jose. Puerto Princesa International Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car. Meals and drinks are served in our cafeteria facing the main garden. Before going to sleep it is best to order your breakfast and if you plan to have dinner here please let us know and choose your meal before you leave. For proper waste disposal, if you order drinks and fast food outside, we charge a corkage fee of 50php per meal and 20php per bottle. You can contact us by email if you would like us to organize day trips. It is highly recommended to book the tours with us because sometimes the pick-up time is around 06:30, so we need to wake you up on time and prepare your breakfast. As one of the few hotels located just outside the city, close to the North Highway, our position is ideal as you are the last passengers picked up by the tour operator and the first to be dropped off . The last renovation of the building dates back to 2019!
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Balay Tuko Garden Inn in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please note that the hotel can arrange airport pickup (one way) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for PHP 500 (10 seater van or SUV). Customers wishing to benefit from this service are asked to provide their flight details. Outside of these hours, you can choose to take a taxi, tricycle or other available public transportation. It is recommended that you call or text them as soon as you board the plane to confirm the estimated time of arrival at Puerto Princesa International Airport. **Please note that a surcharge of PHP 150 per hour applies to guests requiring early check-in and/or late check-out, and is also subject to room availability. ***In the event of a city power outage, our backup generator does not power the air conditioners, only the lights, main water pump and ceiling fans.
