Welcome to this great holiday home, set on the idyllic island of Bohus-Malmön, with the popular summer towns of Kungshamn and Lysekil within driving distance. The house has a lovely view of the sea, which is only 150 metres away, and a big garden of 1000 square metres.
The two-storey house has a modern, light and airy kitchen with a small kitchen table and all of the amenitiesyou need for a comfortable stay, such as a dishwasher. The cosy living room features a dining table, a wood-burning stove, a Tv and a sofa bed for two. The sofa bed is small and best suited for children. The bathroom is well-kept and contains a WC, a washbasin, a shower, ans a washing machine.
On the second floor, there are two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds.
Bohus.Malmön is an old fishing and stone-cutting community, dating back to the 16th century. The island is four kilometres long and two kilometres wide and has a variety of lovely beaches and walking trails that take you through the beautiful landscape. Theres a big, modern marina in the centre., here you will find a number of cafés that are open in the summertime. Theres a magnificent beach with sand, cliffs, and a bathing dock, only 200 metres from the house. The lovely beach Kattesand is two kilometres away, an excellent distance for a bike ride. There are bikes that you may use.
Malmön used to be a stone-cutting community but today the quarries are no longer in use. One of them, Stallebrottet, is used as a stage for music- and theatre events. The island offers all of the services you need, such as grocery stores and restaurants. A free ferry takes you to and from the island, it leaves every other hour.
