This hostel is 2 km outside Kalix town centre and only 2 minutes’ drive from the nearest supermarket. Guests can cook and dine in the fully equipped communal kitchen. Kalix Vandrarhem’s simple guest rooms include a private shower and toilet and free Wi-Fi. Kalix Vandrarhem’s TV lounge offers a place for relaxation. Other facilities include a children’s playground and a barbecue area, while a summer outdoor swimming pool is found nearby. The hostel is surrounded by greenery, just a 4-minute drive from the River Kalix and 40 minutes’ journey from IKEA Haparanda.
Please inform STF Kalix Vandrarhem in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Check-in takes place in the main school building of Kalix Folkhögskola. Please note that the reception is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Guests wishing to arrive after check-in hours or on the weekend must to contact the hotel in advance to receive check-in instructions. Breakfast and lunch are only available Monday to Friday, between 1 September and 3 June. They are not offered during the summer.
