Housed in a building from the 1800s, this hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle and the popular Kvarnholmen shopping district. The bright and fresh guest rooms at Hotell Hilda include a TV and private bathroom with shower. Many have a tiled stove and beautiful bay windows. Complimentary tea and coffee are also offered to all guests. Hilda Hotell’s restaurant, Kallskänken, offers classic cuisine, as well as sandwiches and light salads. Free Wi-Fi and newspapers are available in the lobby. In summer, the garden provides a nice setting for relaxation or a cosy breakfast. Kalmar Central Station is a 2-minute drive away, while the Kalmar Strait is just 250 metres away. Hotel staff will gladly recommend area restaurants and attractions.
Please note that check-in takes place at the hotel's restaurant, Kallskänken, which is located next door. If you expect to arrive on a Sunday or outside check-in hours Monday-Saturday, please inform Hotell Hilda in advance, in order to receive a door code.
