Welcome to this charming holiday home with a lake view, situated close to the small village of Ulrika. Its only 50 metres from lake Avelsgölen, where there is a small bathing spot with a dock.
The cottage features a spacious kitchen with a dining table, a big bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a lovely living room with a TV, a sofa suite, and a cosy fireplace. In the bathroom, theres a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. The living room opens onto the roofed terrace which overlooks the woodlands. Chances are you will spot elk, deer, hares, and other wild animals!
The water supply is from the lake and it is perfectly good for showering, laundry, and dishes, but we is recommend that you buy bottled water for drinking. Theres a small guest house with electric heating and a bunk bed. The lake is only 50 metres away (please note that you must cross a small road to get there). Theres also a great public beach with bathing docks and a wooden bathing raft about 600 metres away. Your cottage is surrounded by scenic nature, and when berries and mushrooms are in season, there are usually plenty to pick in the area.
The town of Linköping is about 35 kilometres away, offering cinemas, a theatre, shops, museums, a big shopping centre, and the charming “old town”. Astrid Lindgrens world in Vimmerby is 30 kilometres from your holiday home.
