Welcome to this charming holiday home set in a peaceful area in Roslagen, north of Stockholm. The house is located close to the sea, on the island of Rådmansö.
The main house features an open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher. In the living room, you will find a woodburning stove which is perfect if you want to light a fire for a cosy night in. There are two bedrooms in the main house, one features a double bed and the other features a bunk bed. In the larger annex you will find a sofa bed for two and the smaller annex has a fold-up bed. The bathroom is in the main building, it has underfloor heating, a WC, a washbasin, and a shower.
The house is set on a large plot of 2000 square metres and has a terrace with a garden grill. The house is close to several excellent beaches and there are hunting- and fishing possibilities. The picturesque town of Norrtälje is nearby.
Roslagen offers all sorts of events and activities, one example is the boat race Roslagsloppet and the festival Roslagsfestivalen. In July you can enjoy the American Car Show. Or visit Norrtelje Jazzdagar and listen to beautiful jazz, after midsummer. Why not make a day trip to Åland or try your hand at kayaking? Or explore the caves of Gillberga gryt outside of Hallstavik! Catch a boat from Furusund to go sightseeing or take one all the way into Stockholm. The city of Stockholm is an hours drive from your holiday home and is well known for its beauty and its historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! Its is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see.
