Surrounded by a large park, Youth Hostel Richterswil is set right on the shore of Lake Zurich, 500 metres from the railway station. The disabled-friendly hostel has a restaurant, a sun terrace and free Wi-Fi access. The simply furnished dormitory rooms offer scenic views of the lake. They have wooden floors, a desk and a shared bathroom with a shower. Richterswil Youth Hostel offers a buffet breakfast. Packed lunches are also available on request. You can find a game room with table tennis and table football facilities on site. There is an indoor children’s playroom with a wooden castle and an outdoor playground. You can use the reading and internet corners in the public areas. Lake Zurich right in front of the hostel offers opportunities for various water sports like swimming, rowing, windsurfing and diving. You can easily reach Zurich with public transport with tram 2/8 leaving in every 30 minutes from Richterswil. Einsiedeln with a Benedictine Monastery can be reached within a 25-minute drive. The hostel offers private parking spaces in a public garage 50 metres away.
