Informations about hotel

Location

Ana Mandara is Vietnam’s premier pioneering luxury resort brand, having developed the country’s first beach resort in 1998. Now with the opening of Ana Mandara Hue, the brand’s pioneering spirit is taken to an even higher level, with the introduction of the only private pool villas in the region. Operated by Hotel Collection Indochine – Vietnam’s first home-grown hotel and resort management company – Ana Mandara Hue incorporates the very essence of Vietnamese hospitality and all the comforts expected from a luxury resort. It is just fifteen kilometres east of historic Hue City, yet enjoys the picturesque countryside and an enviable beachfront location. Set amidst almost three hectares of tropical parkland, Ana Manadra Hue fronts a 400-metre white sand beach. There is a total of 78 accommodations comprising deluxe rooms, duplex suites, beach villas and pool villas. In-room guest refinements include gourmet mini bars, plunger ground coffee and herbal teas, handmade soaps and lotions, rain-showers, flatscreen TVs with cable and complimentary wireless Internet. Dining alternatives include excellent local cuisine in the Vietnamese restaurant, with adjoining wine lounge, a modern bistro featuring an international open kitchen, the Sky Terrace with tapas and the Aqua Beach Bar. La Cochinchne Spa and Wellness Centre offers a comprehensive menu of treatments and Ayurvedic therapies, together with a fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment, steam rooms and saunas, overlooking calming reflection pools. Just 15 kilometres from historic Hue City, which is the capital of Thua Thien – Hue Province. There are daily flights by Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi (600kms) and Ho Chi Minh City (1080kms) to Phu Bai Airport. Guests are met on arrival and transferred to the resort. A shuttle service is available between the resort and Hue City is on a request basis. Hue City was the Imperial Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945, until which time it was also the National Capital. During French occupation, the treasured monuments and architecture were respected, and despite the turbulent years of the 20th century, the many historic points of interest went significantly unscathed. Today, it has earned a place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The seat of the Nguyen Emperors was the Citadel, which occupies a large walled area on the north side of the Perfumed River. The Citadel protected the Forbidden Purple City where only the emperors, concubines and close associates were granted access. Ana Mandara Hue has put together some signature experiences for guests to explore the highlights of Hue and some exceptional off-the-beaten-track attractions. These private excursions also include a visit to the Tiger Arena – an Asian version of a Roman Coliseum, and the masterpiece of ancient architecture – Than Toan Bridge. Escape cliché excursions with an Ana Mandara Hue private car tour of Hue Region. Take a cyclo guided tour around the laneways, canals and corners of the town that only the locals know; enjoy coffee with them, lunch in typical restaurants and enjoy a gourmet picnic on a secluded beach. All this and so much more is possible for guests of Ana Mandara Hue.
