Manila to El Nido (LIO Airport)
- Direct flight but should be booked in advance
Direct flight to Puerto Princesa Airport
- Upon arrival, take the 6-hour land trip from the airport to El Nido Town via aircon & non-aircon public transport options or private vans (note limited time schedules)
- Coordinate with your hotel directly for assistance or proceed to the San Jose Terminal
There is no electricity in El Nido Town from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily. Electricity will only resume after 2:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following day (subject to change at any time).
There are no banks or ATM’s (Automated Teller Machine) in town. Credit card facilities are also not available in most establishments. Foreign currencies and travelers cheque (USD only) can be exchanged in some shops.
For island tours, a mandatory PHP 200 Eco-Tourism Development Fee applies – valid for 10 days. You can coordinate with the hotel or local tour operators.
