17 km northeast of Sotkamo center, Vuokatti 22km. Cottage is located at the beach of small pond (length 30 m, width 15 m). Deep beach, hard bottom. Pier, own rowing boat. Boat can be transported to nearby lakes, trailer can be borrowed from the owner. Close to the cottage (25 m) is small river Matikanjoki.
Wooden cottage, built 1978, renovated 2017. Kitchen-living room has sofa bed, bedroom with 120 cm wide bed, spreadable bed and mezzanine bed (120 cm), bedroom door is a folding door, washroom/toilet and vestibule.
Sauna at the beach of the pond, sauna heated with wood, dressing room. Sauna has electric lights, for heating separate electric radiators. Water to the sauna carried from the pond or the well (25 m). Barbecue hut and pier. Specialty of the cottage is the mountain spring water from the spring. Tap water is also from the spring. Heating of the cottage with fireplace, air source heat pump and electric radiators. Air source heat pump can also be used to cool off in summer.
Charming, grassed yard near the small pond. Lots of berries in the area (strawberries, raspberries), picking up berries can be arranged with the owner at the harvest time. Outside the harvest time frozen berries can be purchased from the owner (strawberries, raspberries, cloudberries, blueberries, cowberries).
The cottage is suitable for vacations in summer and winter. Services of tourist resort Vuokatti in 22 km. Also ideal for hunting. Small game hunting in the lands of the state, target 5613 Sotkamo (www.eraluvat.fi/en).
