Irilena is a family owned hotel, located near the bay of Stalis or Stalida, as it is locally known. The hotel is committed to offering holidays of pleasure and relaxation since 1990. The long sandy beach of Stalis, that is almost 300 meters far from Irilena hotel, promises you carefree bathing in the Aegean Sea. We would like to offer low cost accomodation but high level of memorable experience! Irilena Hotel was built in 1990 and it was renovated and extended in 2002. It is located 100 meters from the center of Stalida(Stalis), 300 meters away from the beach and 250mtrs from the bus stop to Heraklion. The peacefull surrounding area promises relaxing holidays! The complex consists of 30 spacious apartments and studios, privileged with stunning view over Crete's mountain range and the Aegean Sea. The generously sized rooms offer comfortable accommodation. The friendly and cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal place for couples and families. By Hire Car There are many places just outside the Arrivals gate to hire a car. On leaving the airport you need to get onto the main highway 'E75' heading east, and follow the signs for Malia or Aghios Nikaloas, then eventually the signs for Stalis/Stalida. Heading East through Stalis, there is an ECKO garage on the right, you need to turn left immediately after the garage. About halfway down the road there is a turning on the right, take this turning and follow the track to the end, here, on the left, you will find 'Irilena Apartments'. By Bus The bus stop is situated on the outskirts of the car park, opposite the Arrivals gate. The buses are clearly marked with the destination and you need to get a bus bound for Agios Nikolaos or Malia. You buy your ticket on board from the conductor. Tell the bus conductor you want to get off in Stalis after the ECKO garage (“Anthousa” bus station ). This bus stop is immediately after the garage. You will find yourself at the side of the main road. On the opposite side of the main road, there is a little road heading down to the coast, you need to cross the road and head down here, about half way down there is a track/road to the right, turn down here and follow it to the end, the 'Irilena Apartments' are on the left at the end of this track. By Taxi If you are arriving in the very late or very early hours, a taxi may be your best option. The taxi rank is immediately to the right as you leave the airport building. There is a map on the wall with approximate pricings to resorts. Just tell the taxi driver you wish to go to the 'Irilena Apartments' in Stalis, sit back and enjoy the ride.
