The newest addition to Wan Chai, Hong Kong, Cue Hotel is a refreshingly different boutique hotel with a luxe edginess and a contemporary vibe that reflects Hong Kongs unique East meets West culture. Our hotel is a canvas for Asian talent and our walls, our gallery of the faces of its people. Gallery 76 by Edwin Koo showcases a stunning series of black and white prints, depicting sights and scenes of Wan Chai, taken at various times of the day encapsulating what the local folk do in the course of their daily routine. Edwin Koo is an award winning Singaporean photojournalist who has lived in Kathmandu, done insightful projects on Tibetan exiles, Maoist guerrillas and the Pakistan Swat Valley. He has exhibited in Singapore, France, the Netherlands, China and Cambodia and his work has made it to the pages of international titles like GEO, International Herald Tribune, The New York Times and Le Monde. Within the Hotel, the feminine touches are reminiscent of the sensibilities and refined tastes and talents of Hong Kong born Chailie Ho, a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She designed the Cue Hotel staff uniforms and personally selected the colours and fabrics used in all our soft furnishings and dcor. On display on our walls are 60 oil paintings exclusively painted by a group of Chinese artists for the Hotel to depict the stories of Wanchai, its vivid history and how it came to be. You cant ask for a better location when visiting Hong Kong as the city comes alive just outside our doors. Located along bustling Queens Road East, Cue is in the heart of Wan Chai, Hong Kongs busiest and most famous business, dining and shopping district. We are a ten-minute walk from major shopping malls and business offices at Pacific Place and Hopewell Centre, just five minutes by foot from the Michelin starred dining districts at Ship Street and just around the corner from the iconic shopping enclave in Star Street.
