Al Waha is Oman's first dedicated family hotel. It is the largest of the three hotels at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Sultanate of Oman. The name Al Waha means "The Oasis", and has been designed such that the hotel's several swimming pools form an oasis incorporating many date palm trees. Situated by the beach, 1 km from a marina, 34 km from the center of Muscat and 47 km from Muscat International Airport.Facilities and services include restaurants, bars, coffee shop, wireless Internet access, swimming pool, children's pool, kids club, gift shop, elevator and 24-hour reception.
