Established more than 20 years ago, Ko Tao Resort is one of the original resorts on the island. In that time we have developed beautiful landscaped gardens around our accommodation, set in a spacious, private area next to Chalok Baan Kao village, at the South of Koh Tao. Here at Ko Tao Resort we are ever mindful of the environmental impact that mankind has on the planet. For this reason our rooms are located in low-impact areas and we have a dedicated sewage system in an effort to minimize the threat that we pose to the beautiful natural world, both above and below the sea. We have a wide variety of accommodation to suit all needs and budgets. All of our rooms are set in our landscaped gardens, either directly behind the beach or a short walk away. All rooms have cable television and a separate, private bathroom. The Ko Tao Resort, Koh Tao Island is reached by a ferry from Nathon Pier on Samui Island. The speed boat service operates at approx 12.00 hours each day. Journey time is about 95 minutes. Speed boat times are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations. Alternatively hire a local long tail boat from Samui Island to Koh Tao Island. Or from Chumphon Pier by ferry at approx 07.30 hours each day. Journey time is about 150 minutes.
